Spring is in the Air: beauty trends

Yes, it’s February: we’ve made it out of January so that Spring light at the end of the tunnel is starting to show.

The great thing about the seasons changing is simply that: change! Every season in fashion and beauty we get to see new colours, new styles–or new twists on old ideas. Paying attention to the runways recently there were some clear trends being seen in many markets around the globe.

One hair trend that was absolutely everywhere was the braid, and not always the traditional braid worn at the nape of the neck. Up, down, and all around: the braid itself was a clear staple for Spring/Summer 2010. New and unique ways to put that hair up with bold bangs can also be spotted.

Some more trends for the upcoming season:

-A nice off-blue shade for the eyes or a nice purple is where the trends are going and expect to see a lot of it.

-Throwback to the classics: loose waves for the hair are perfectly glamorous.

-Go with a classic rich red lip, but expect to see the red a bit darker than usual and at times bordering on a touch of burgundy.

The glamorous classic beauty never really goes out of style, it continues to re-invent itself and change slightly to go with the times yet maintain that classic quality.

Beauty is everywhere so enjoy it!
