Wish T-Shirts on Sale

November 26th, 2008  |  Published in Blog

Wish Design Wish to make a statement? How about doing so fashionably and by giving to a very worthy cause? The WISH Drop-in Centre located in the downtown eastside is a foundation that provides a variety of services for survival female sex workers. As a part of their 2nd annual Emerging Voices art show and fundraiser in May, they created T-Shirts like the one posted on the right. Simple but graphic, they pointedly voice the wearer’s support and demand acknowledgment for those women who are so often ignored. Luckily, they are still available for purchase exclusively at Motherland until supplies last. They are $18 with 60% of sales going to WISH.

Shirts were generously donated by Blank Shirts, burned by Willox Graphic Supplies and printed by Action Athletic Wear.
